GOALS

Providing mother nature gratitude by transitioning to Solar Powered Electricity

Alpex Marine (Pvt) Ltd involved in seafood exports are depended on the resources from the sea. As a responsible company, they identified the influence of toxic wastage and pollution harming the ocean and took measures to safeguard nature by transitioning to Solar Powered Electricity by showing gratitude to mother nature for all they have received.

CHALLANGES

Installing maximum solar PV capacity on the roof with zero incidents

The biggest challenge JLanka as an EPC contractor for the project had to face was to install maximum solar power PV capacity on their roof. Our highly skilled designers were able to install solar modules on different facades of Alpex Factory in order to maximize the roof space and avoid unnecessary costs.

Since this project was in the heart of Colombo, the main challenge was to execute the project with zero negative incidents. JLanka bought in 100% support and teamwork from all the stakeholders, which helped to deliver a satisfied project implementation.

OUTCOME

A premium energy solution that generates more energy than expected

We at JLanka believe in going beyond expectation and striving to achieve the best for our clients, providing them with our skilled expertise and quality service. A feat that was evident when the actual energy output of the system was higher than that pledged. Our clients were able to obtain over 2% more from the energy output than expected, due to the meticulous planning and careful management of this project, two areas in which our team of experts excel.

Annual Environmental Savings

Bulbs Powered per day 858,109
Fuel Saved in l per year 93,000
system capacity 207 kWp

CO2 Saving Tons per year 125
Trees planted per year 415
Coal saved Tons per year 106
