A better approach for waste management

A recent topic everyone in Sri Lanka was talking about especially after the Meethotamulla incident, where many lives were lost, was about waste management. The poor approach in waste management has led this mess to a higher level. Are we also responsible for these actions? What can we do about this?

The Electrical Engineering Society (EESoc) of University of Moratuwa is organizing the Annual Round Table Conference on 13th September 2017, 4.30 pm at Jasmine Conference Hall, BMICH, co-sponsored by JLanka Technologies where professionals in the industry will strive to suggest solutions in a broader approach with the lines of looking into the next level of segregating energy by waste. This conference will focus on major field of discussions such as;

  • Segregation and management of waste
  • Different concepts with reference to waste management
  • Energy generation techniques with waste
  • Proposed projects related to waste energy
