Investing in a Clean Future
Understanding the Value Chain of Utility-Scale
Solar PV Power Plants

A seminar primarily targeting the potential investors of the 1MWp x 90 tender under the theme “Investing in a Clean Future - Understanding the Value Chain of Utility-Scale Solar PV Power Plants” organized by JLanka Technologies will be on held on the 8th of March 2018 from 5pm onwards at The Victorian Ballroom, Kingsbury Hotel along with a networking session and cocktails.

The main focus would be to create awareness about the importance of the utility solar PV power plant EPC value chain and to showcase strengths and capabilities of JLanka as a preferred EPC partner in the development of utility solar PV power plants in Sri Lanka.

Target Audience

  • Project developers and investors
  • Construction contractors
  • Renewable Energy Investors
  • Government policy and decision makers
  • All Sri Lankan PV project stakeholders

Large, ground-connected solar power plants require significant investments. The main monetization from the MW solar power plants is either through the sale of power or savings accrued from captive power generation. While availability or ownership of land are important, these are not the most critical factors determining the success of ground mounted solar farms.
